Responsability:

• Install, remove, maintain and repair aerial and underground telecom transmission and distribution lines
• Helping the senior tech to lay cables on the overhead rack and underneath floors
• Terminating the cables and splicing.
• Handling Fiber Cables
• Loading and unloading the equipment and cables on the vehicle
• Installing equipment in the Racks
• Cleaning up the sites after finishing installation

Skills:

• Hard working, Team Player
• One to three years' related experience
• Willing to work in the remote location

Responsability:

• Install, Maintain and repair mobile phone, 2 way radios and duplicate customer complaint with received product
• Conduct functional test on mobile phone
• Upgrade mobile phone software at flashing station
• Replace and repair cell phone components
• Conduct quality test on repaired product such as radio frequency strength

Skills:

• Comfortable with usage of mobile phones and all related functions
• Previous experience working with mobile phones and/or radio frequency based equipment
• Ability to use oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, and digital multi-meter is an asset for higher level repair
• Ability to read schematic is an asset for higher level repair
• Ability to solder at a component level is an asset for higher level repair,
• Quick learner, flexible and able to multi-task while meeting tight deadlines,
• Able to work in a teamwork environment

Responsability:

The successful candidate will have experience in the completion of design calculations, engineering studies, procurement of power distribution equipment and motors up to 15kV.

Skills:

• Diploma Apprenticeship certificate
• All Designers and Drafters should have a diploma in electrical engineering technology from a recognized technical college
• All candidates should have a minimum of 3 years experience in engineering consulting in heavy industries

Responsability:

• Duties include system design, technology selection, specification, procurement, programming, preparation of panel, wiring and installation drawings, and on-site start-up and commissioning. Instrument sizing and selection, Site commissioning experience.
• Willingness to participate in site commissioning at remote locations throughout Alberta

Skills:

• Technology Diploma in Electrical/Instrumentation and Controls.
• Must have a minimum of 3 years related experience

Responsability:

• Operation and maintenance of Cellular/Paging/Microwave sites.
• Assist in the implementation and testing of commissioning and maintenance work orders.
• Maintain site documentation resulting from engineering activities and contractor work orders.
• Test, verify and report on RF and Radio performance using RF testing tools in conjunction with a RF performance analyst.
• Test and commission new cell sites and identify deficiencies.
• Write incident and fault reports as required. Act on and assist in resolving such reports.
• Implement preventative maintenance routines and schedule accordingly

Skills:

• Three to five years experience in the telecommunications industry,
• Minimum Three years experience in Cellular radio, paging, and microwave.
• Minimum three years experience in microwave radio.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation and written skills essential
